What AutoShops.com does
AutoShops.com is a platform that connects car owners with local autoshops. You describe what your car needs, we broadcast that service request to shops in your area, and those shops respond with quotes. We provide the platform — we do not perform repairs ourselves.
Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
Quotes and repairs are between you and the shop
Any quote you receive is offered by the autoshop, not by AutoShops.com. The repair agreement, the work performed, the final price, and any warranty are between you and the shop you select. We are not a party to that agreement and do not guarantee the work.
Obligations for autoshops
Shops using the platform agree to hold the licenses and insurance required in their jurisdiction, to describe their services accurately, to honor the quotes they submit in good faith, and to communicate clearly with customers.
Acceptable use
Do not use the platform to submit false or misleading information, to harass other users, to scrape or copy platform data, to interfere with its operation, or for any unlawful purpose.
Fees
Creating an account and requesting quotes is free for car owners. Any fees that apply to autoshops are disclosed before they take effect.
Availability
We work to keep the platform running reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AutoShops.com is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or from any repair performed by a shop you found through it.
Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after an update means you accept the revised terms.
